We are all overwhelmed with endless information about just nearly everything. A lot of it is not useful and is simply noise. It is important with Useful Belief thinking that we identify what are the things to pay attention to and what are not.
Positive thinking doesn't really work by itself. Useful Belief thinking does. Positive is emotional, while Useful is practical.
Truth doesn't matter as much as we think it does. We were all taught a lot of things that were supposedly true. Now that you have an adult brain, they didn't turn out to be true at all. We can control our perception and decide what is a Useful Belief to have.
Your brain has a filter called the Reticular Activating System. It shows you what you see. You can control whether your filter is helping you seek opportunities or relagating your thinking to seeking out tough times.
